Well, it's happening. I am officially turning into my folks... in some ways... although the slightly nerdier version. But I will say this, I sorta love it. It dawned on me this morning when I was helping out a friend who needed some things for an apartment that she's only using for a month before she heads back to Dublin. So I had her come over to go "shopping" in my basement for things she could use. As she left, I realized that it was something my folks would have done for someone in the same situation... down to the exclaiming of "well all it does is sit here anyhow, may as well get some use out of it!". My parents are good people... I would be lucky to turn out like them.
